Use of Your Personal Information.
MyCustomerLens is solely concerned with customer and employee feedback data, primarily text comments but also multiple-choice survey responses. We process the data in order to gain and provide meaningful insight into the customer and employee feedback for our clients. Our data processing is intended to provide aggregated data and trends, and our software does not include functionality for contacting individuals. Where data is available we will retain a personal identifier for data items, such as a Twitter handle, so that we are able to service data requests as per GDPR Article 12.
Where contact details are asked for, the purpose of collecting this data will be explicitly stated in the form or survey, for example, providing an email address where a customer expects a response or follow-up. Once the data has been used for this purpose, the data will be deleted.
We do not access or process any personally sensitive information, such as biometric or health data.
Disclosing of Your Personal Information to Third Parties.
MyCustomerLens does not sell, rent, lease or disclose your Personal Information, except with our clients who have requested our service.
EU 2016/679 ñ GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) COMPLIANCE.
We strive to fully comply with the new regulations set forth in the GDPR established by the EU. Specifically, any personal data we process is collected for a legal and lawful reason, the legitimate interest of our clients to gain insight on customer feedback data shared by their customers on public channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Google, and from private channels such as personalised surveys specific to our clients, which their customers have responded to. We protect any personal data collected and limit the nature and scope of data collected to that which is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is being processed (data minimisation). For example, if we process a tweet, we discard all information not relevant to our creation of insight, limiting our data processing to the textual content of the tweet, and other metrics that can be beneficial such as the location of the tweet, or the time it was shared, if available.
