My Customer Lens Ltd. (MyCustomerLens) is committed to protecting your privacy and we encourage you to read and learn more about the terms of our privacy policy (Privacy Policy). Terms not defined herein shall have the meaning as provided in the MyCustomerLens Terms of Service (the Agreement) with each of our clients.
We may modify this privacy policy at any time, in our sole discretion, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon either posting of the modified privacy policy on the site or notifying you. Use of the information we collect now is subject to the privacy policy in effect at the time such information is collected. You agree to review this privacy policy periodically to ensure that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued access or use of the site, services and/or software shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified privacy policy.
Information Covered in This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy covers MyCustomerLens’ treatment of Personal Information (as defined herein) that MyCustomerLens gathers. This Privacy Policy also covers MyCustomerLens’ treatment of any Personal Information and Customer Personal Information that MyCustomerLens’ business partners share with MyCustomerLens. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that MyCustomerLens does not own or control, or to individuals that MyCustomerLens does not employ or manage.
Collection of Your Information.
MyCustomerLens collects various types of data from a variety of sources, including but not limited to
– Twitter data from the Twitter API
– Review data from Facebook and Google
– Survey response data from proprietary survey tools
– Data provided from our clients for processing
Use of Your Personal Information.
MyCustomerLens is solely concerned with customer and employee feedback data, primarily text comments but also multiple-choice survey responses. We process the data in order to gain and provide meaningful insight into the customer and employee feedback for our clients. Our data processing is intended to provide aggregated data and trends, and our software does not include functionality for contacting individuals. Where data is available we will retain a personal identifier for data items, such as a Twitter handle, so that we are able to service data requests as per GDPR Article 12.
Where contact details are asked for, the purpose of collecting this data will be explicitly stated in the form or survey, for example, providing an email address where a customer expects a response or follow-up. Once the data has been used for this purpose, the data will be deleted.
We do not access or process any personally sensitive information, such as biometric or health data.
Disclosing of Your Personal Information to Third Parties.
MyCustomerLens does not sell, rent, lease or disclose your Personal Information, except with our clients who have requested our service.
EU 2016/679 ñ GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) COMPLIANCE.
We strive to fully comply with the new regulations set forth in the GDPR established by the EU. Specifically, any personal data we process is collected for a legal and lawful reason, the legitimate interest of our clients to gain insight on customer feedback data shared by their customers on public channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Google, and from private channels such as personalised surveys specific to our clients, which their customers have responded to. We protect any personal data collected and limit the nature and scope of data collected to that which is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is being processed (data minimisation). For example, if we process a tweet, we discard all information not relevant to our creation of insight, limiting our data processing to the textual content of the tweet, and other metrics that can be beneficial such as the location of the tweet, or the time it was shared, if available.
You have the absolute right to withdraw your consent, request erasure, and/or object to our processing of any of your personal data that we may process. Simply send an email to info@mycustomerlens.com with the subject line: ‘I hereby [withdraw my consent, and/or request reassure, and/or object] to my data being processed under the GDPR’ and include in the body of your email your name, and any unique identifier that we can associate with any data that we may hold, such as a Twitter handle, Facebook ID or an email address provided as part of a survey. Upon receipt of your email we will cease processing your personal data. Should you desire to exercise your right to erasure or object to our processing of your personal data, please also include this request in the body of the email, and we will follow the procedures set forth in GDPR Art. 17, 18, and/or 21.
Upon request, pursuant to GDPR Art. 12 and 15, we agree to provide you with information regarding any of your personal data that we have processed, including the following:
1) the purposes of the processing;
2) the categories of personal data concerned;
3) the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations;
4) where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
5) the existence of the right to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject or to object to such processing;
6) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
7) where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source;
8) the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject.
We will strive to provide you with this information within one (1) month of such request. We further reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for such request and/or refuse such request pursuant to GDPR Art. 12 (5).
We take the protection of personal data seriously and not only strive to process and retain it in the safest manner possible but also, we have measures in place that detect and alert us to any data breaches that may occur, and will notify you in the unlikely event that any of your personal data is affected by any breach.
Unless you have provided us explicit consent and/or you have volunteered without solicitation such personal data, we do not process any personal data that reveals your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation. Our processing of this data fully complies with the requirements set forth in GDPR Art. 9.
Mandatory Disclosure
You understand and agree that MyCustomerLens may access and/or disclose Personal Information about you or your Account and/or Client Use Data without your prior consent if MyCustomerLens has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with legal process or other legal requirements of any governmental authority; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of MyCustomerLens (including the enforcement of our agreements); (c) enforce the Agreement, Terms and Conditions, License Agreement and this Privacy Policy; (d) operate or conduct maintenance and repair of the Site or equipment as authorized by law; (e) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Site, the Services or members of the public; or (f) comply with a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, transfer of control, joint venture of other business combination. MyCustomerLens is not required to question or contest the validity of any search warrant, subpoena or other similar governmental request that we receive. In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if MyCustomerLens, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of MyCustomerLens may continue to use your Information and/or Client Use Data as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Security of Personal Information and Client Use Data.
The Personal Information and Client Use Data that MyCustomerLens collects is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide practices such as firewalls, and encryption for protecting such information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. MyCustomerLens cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to MyCustomerLens over the Internet.
Collection and Use of Children’s Personal Information.
MyCustomerLens does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children.
E-mail Communications.
Upon registration for our newsletter we will send you regular e-mails. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please notify us by e-mail at info@mycustomerlens.com with the email address that you used to subscribe to the newsletter and we will remove you from our list.

YouTube. Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Google Web Fonts. For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
